Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is the Accountability Lab?
The Accountability Lab is a structured, small-group experience inside Black in Rehab University designed to help clinicians consistently move forward on meaningful goals. It combines planning, live co-working, focused hot seats, and mindset support in one container.
How often does the group meet?
There are four live sessions each month:
One Accountability Meet-Up (planning + reflection)
Two Power Hours (live co-working session)
One Hot Seat Session (focused support for each member)
In addition, members stay connected between sessions through a private WhatsApp group.
What happens during the Power Hour?
The Power Hour is a live co-working session. We meet on Zoom, set a visible timer, and work quietly together. At the end of the session, each member commits to a realistic goal to complete by the following week—based on what they actually accomplished during the hour.
How do the hot seats work?
Each member receives 10–15 minutes during the monthly Hot Seat Session. You can bring a challenge, question, or block and receive focused feedback, perspective, and next steps. Even when it’s not your turn, you gain insight by listening and contributing.
What kind of goals are supported in this lab?
Members are working on:building or scaling businesses growing content platforms or personal brands
writing books or completing long-term projects and launching programs, services, or creative work
The lab is best suited for clinicians who are actively building or creating, not studying for exams.
Is this group open to students?
At this time, the Accountability Lab is designed for licensed clinicians or those actively practicing. Students studying for boards are not the ideal fit for this container.
Is this coaching or therapy?
No. This is not therapy or clinical coaching. The lab focuses on structure, accountability, execution, and mindset support for professional and creative goals.
What if I miss a live session?
Live participation is strongly encouraged, especially for Power Hours and Hot Seats. Replays may be available for select sessions, but the value of the lab comes from showing up and participating live.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Membership is month-to-month. You can cancel at any time before your next billing cycle.
What is the 1:1 Private Advisory option?
The Private Advisory add-on includes one 60-minute private session per month for members who want personalized strategy, clarity, and focused support alongside the group experience.
